How could I ever forget the people who called me BERUANG, the people who threatened me on other people's doings, the people who making up stories for unknown reasons... May Allah forgive our sins ameen....
that 'BERUANG' girl is striving for success here now! just to let u know... and yes, guys do need to make some revision on this matter, regardless their ages; teenages or adult, they behave the same! was I wrong? well, give me evidence(s) to prove that I was wrong!
but millions of THANK YOU to those people who made my life miserable before. I learned my experiences from you guys! and alhamdulillah and syukur to Allah swt for giving me the strength. From Him we came, to Him we will come back.. (translated from Malay) -- obviously...
me? well, I tried to make the "gathering bath 95" a reality insyaAllah. May Allah helps us all in making it become true! rindu sangat kat semua...
work for an hour only today! finally enrolled in the Music 114 class, alhamdulillah... music today is from Poland. The first 2 songs make some senses, but everything afterward is just pieces that is broken, tried to put them together here (in mind) but couldn't... didn't go to halaqah today, didn't go to Chinese New Year party today, didn't do anything today! what's wrong? dunno... went home after work, got some sleep, woke up, eat, (pray don't forget), surfing, tried to make some craft but failed, fried fish stick and watched tv with friends!

The Muslim Seeks to Make Excuses for Other Muslims
From Sa'd ibn 'Ubaadah (radiyallaahu 'anhu) who said that Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alaihi wa'sallam) said:
...and there is no one who loves to accept an excuse more than Allaah, and because of this he sent the bringers of good news and the warners....[17]
So a Muslim seeking to make an excuse for his brother and those whom he loves will cause good will to spread instead of antagonism, and will bring about ties of relationship instead of estrangement. Since if Allaah, He who is free of all imperfections, grants excuse, and He is the Creator and the Most Great, then how can you O servant of Allaah, a weak creation of his, not seek to make excuse for others? Rather as is said: Seek an excuse for your brother.18 Likewise there is the saying: the believers seek to make excuses for others, whereas the hypocrites hope for the downfall of others.

early this morning I took a glance at the Spring timetable and found out that there's an empty spot in Music 114 class (a 1 credit class), and therefore I logged one to the web enrollment site and try to get into the class. But it stated that the class was full. I tried several times and right after 7 am, when I refresh the timetable page again, it was already full! So, what was that?
went to grocery last nite, bought lots and lots of thing, thanks to Mudin for letting us go with you. What else in life? ohh.. today I'm going to see Prof. Susan Horwitz, my Computer Science advisor regarding my major. May Allah make it easy for me.. ameen....
please make dua' I can settled everything today, insyaAllah...

Kelebihan Zikir Kepada Allah
Allah Yang Maha Besar selalu mengingatkan kita di dalam kitab-Nya Al-Quran Al-Karim supaya berzikirillah seperti berikut:
“Dan sebutlah nama Tuhanmu pada waktu pagi dan petang, dan pada sebahagian dari malam, maka sujudlah kepadaNya dan bertasbihlah kepadaNya pada bahagian yang panjang di malam hari.” Surah 76: Al Insan, Ayat 25 & 26
“Dan sebutlah nama Tuhanmu dalam hatimu dengan merendahkan diri dan rasa takut, dan dengan tidak meninggikan suara, di waktu pagi dan petang, dan janganlah kamu termasuk orang-orang yang lalai.” Surah 7: Al A’raf, Ayat 205
“Orang-orang yang mengingati Allah sambil berdiri atau duduk atau dalam keadaan berbaring dan mereka memikirkan tentang penciptaan langit dan bumi (seraya berkata) “Ya Tuhan kami, tiadalah Engkau menciptakan ini dengan sia-sia, Maha Suci Engkau, maka peliharalah kami dari siksa neraka.” Surah 3: Al Imran Ayat 191

Dari Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi dan Ibn Majah, diriwayatkan oleh Abu Hurairah r.a: Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda: Allah s.w.t berfirman: Aku adalah berdasarkan kepada sangkaan hambaKu terhadapKu. Aku bersamanya ketika dia mengingatiKu. Apabila dia mengingatiKu dalam dirinya, nescaya aku juga akan mengingatinya dalam diriKu. Apabila dia mengingatiKu di majlis, nescaya Aku juga akan mengingatinya di dalam suatu majlis yang lebih baik daripada mereka. Apabila dia mendekatiKu dalam jarak sejengkal, nescaya Aku akan mendekatinya dengan jarak sehasta. Apabila dia mendekatiKu sehasta, nescaya Aku akan mendekatinya dengan jarak sedepa. Apabila dia datang kepadaKu dalam keadaan berjalan seperti biasa, nescaya Aku akan datang kepadanya seperti berlari-lari anak.
Diriwayatkan daripada Abu Hurairah r.a katanya: Nabi s.a.w bersabda: Sesungguhnya Allah s.w.t Yang Maha Memberkati lagi Maha Tinggi memiliki para Malaikat yang mempunyai kelebihan yang diberikan oleh Allah s.w.t. Para Malaikat selalu mengelilingi bumi. Para Malaikat sentiasa memerhati majlis-majlis zikir. Apabila mereka dapati ada satu majlis yang dipenuhi dengan zikir, mereka turut mengikuti majlis tersebut di mana mereka akan melingkunginya dengan sayap-sayap mereka sehinggalah memenuhi ruangan antara orang yang menghadiri majlis zikir tersebut dan langit. Apabila orang ramai yang hadir dalam majlis tersebut beredar, para malikat naik ke langit.
Allah s.w.t bertanya para malaikat meskipun Allah mengetahui pergerakan mereka:
“Dari mana kamu datang?”
Malaikat menjawab:
“Kami datang dari tempat hamba-hambaMu di dunia. Mereka bertasbih, bertakbir, bertahlil, bertahmid serta berdoa memohon dari-Mu.”
Allah s.w.t berfirman:
“Apakah yang mereka pohonkan.?”
Para Malaikat menjawab:
“Mereka memohon Syurga dari-Mu.”
Allah berfirman:
“Apakah mereka pernah melihat Syurga-Ku?”
Para Malaikat menjawab:
“Belum, wahai Tuhan.”
Allah berfirman:
“Bagaimanakah agarnya akan terjadi seandainya mereka dapat melihat Syurga-Ku?”
Malaikat berkata lagi:
“Mereka juga memohon daripada-Mu perlindungan.”
Allah berfirman:
“Mereka pohon perlindungan-Ku dari apa?”
Malaikat menjawab:
“Dari Neraka-Mu, wahai tuhan.”
Allah berfirman:
“Apakah mereka pernah melihat Neraka-Ku?”
Malaikat menjawab:
“Belum.”
Allah berfirman:
“Bagaimanakah agarnya akan terjadi seandainya mereka dapat melihat Neraka-Ku.”
Malaikat terus berkata:
“Mereka juga memohon keampunan-Mu.”
Allah berfirman:
“Aku sudah mengampuni mereka. Aku telah kurniakan kepada mereka apa yang mereka pohon dan Aku telah berikan ganjaran pahala kepada mereka sebagaimana yang mereka pohonkan.”
Malaikat berkata lagi:
“Wahai tuhan kami, di antara mereka terdapat seorang hamba-Mu. Dia penuh dengan dosa, sebenarnya dia tidak berniat untuk menghadiri majlis tersebut, tetapi setelah dia melaluinya dia terasa ingin menyertainya lalu duduk bersama-sama orang ramai yang berada di majlis itu.”
Allah berfirman:
“Aku juga telah mengampuninya. Mereka adalah kaum yang tidak dicelakakan dengan majlis yang mereka adakan.”

mekmah masuk wad, sakit perut dan muntah-muntah 2 hari lepas. InsyaAllah dah sehat, suspek gastrik... kesian mekmah... kaklong doakan awak cepat sembuh yer. Bila dapat berita orang sakit cakap apa? aha.... dah lupe yer... kalau dengar orang sakit sebutlah innalillah, dan doakan moga cepat sembuh.... betul tak? kalau silap harap betulkan di ruangan chatbox yer...
tabiat berjaga malam masih tak dapat nak dibuang, it tooks sometime to adapt to new environment, kan?
menaip di tempat kerja dalam keadaan ragu-ragu sebab takut ketua datang jenguk, walaupun hakikatnya die tak akan marah... sunyi aje sekarang, nobody else is here, Pat got off at 2 pm, Russ at 3 and Sandy is on the other side. I was assign for scanning job, but after 2 hours I had enough.
Beringat dalam mencari 'teman'. Jangan terburu-buru, biar lambat asal selamat, yeh? fikir-fikirkanlah...

sebelum ni hanya lihat gelagat orang, hanya dengar pengalaman orang lain, sekarang ana rasa pengalaman sendiri. Kami sekeluarga selalu fikirkan bagaimana akhirnya adik ana yang seorang ini, nampaknya die sudah memilih jalan hidupnya sendiri. Didoakan moga dengan keputusan yang diambil ini, dia akan belajar berdikari dan belajar menjadi seorang yang lebih baik, bukan hanya untuk dirinya sahaja, malahan untuk keluarganya sendiri nanti, insyaAllah... Kaklong redha dengan keputusan yang mekmah ambik... kaklong harap mekmah gunakan kepercayaan ini untuk buktikan pada mak dan abah yang mekmah tak silap. Moga berjaya dalam hidup insyaAllah... kaklong tetap sayang mekmah!
Classes begin tomorrow insyaAllah... so many things to clear up, from cs declaring to bazaar thingy... hopefully everything will go smooth. Nurul sign my gusetbook. Lama tak jumpe, rasenye last time we met was in mrsm kulim kan? masa grad form 5 dulu kan? missed u...

got up so late today, received phone callS from fahrol. Why people don't respect others privacy? gavin, pakcik and others are on their way to Orlando today! Have a safe journey! Gonna miss u guys, a lot! but.. why people never wanted me to join their trip? am I that bad? have some conversation with mon just now, about manners.

hmm... lots and lots of thing to write but felt tired and lazy. Just got back from Majlis Hari Raya - anjuran Malaysian families. Fun, full and happy are the best word to describe tonite. I cried a little bit, when the twin cried because they wanted the lego instead of the toy car I bought them. What made me cries? Sebab ada org tanye, kenapa tak beli hadiah yg sama utk semua? and I was like, what the heck? suke ati analah nak beli hadiah apa pun utk depa semua. I am not perfect, never be... but at least I'm doing sth good for myself and for those kids.
the fun started since morning; I helped Kak Pisah and Kak Tini cook the Lodeh and also lunch which are nasi puteh, sayur goreng, telur goreng and satay goreng! huhuhu best kan? Then, helped them prepared the chicken and cleaned the kitchen. Alhamdulillah... we went back home at about 4 pm. I got some sleep (1/2 hour), iroend my baju kurung and then went back there with juices and desserts...
after all the eating and chit chatting part, I helped them do the clean up. Put everything inside the trash bin, put the already washed dishes in order, packed up the leftover and etc. My leg went crammed! sakit tau... pakcik pun buat hal, geram betul! yep, everybody have their own life!
I tried very hard to think positive. But I don't think the manners that the girls showed tonite can be tolerable by anybody... 'Allahualam... am I being conservative? am I that stupid? am I that stupid to differentiate between adab and having fun? ya Allah, tunjukilah hambaMu ini jalan yang benar, jalan yang Kau redhai ya Allah... amin

Missing classes! heh... how's Lorie doing didn't contact her since our last class that day... hope she didn't have any difficulties with the take home exam. How's Reem? Did she finished her 30 pages paper? Missed everybody now... Hope everybody is doing fine insyaAllah...

Allah is unique in terms of true Being. No other being can be said to exist `of itself'. In fact, "Everything perishes except His Presence (Face)" (28:88). It is probable that the name Allâh occurs to indicate the Absolute in the same way that proper nouns denote particular things. Everything that can be said, however, in respect of the origin of the word is from the human point of view, that is, relative and arbitrary.
As Allah breathed His Spirit on the human form it can aspire to actualize Allah's Qualities but the possibility of this occurring is limited and relative to our own natural disposition--which Allah gave us--and the extent of our directing our motivations and perceptions towards this goal. However, gaining knowledge of Allah's Most Beautiful Names and assuming them as noble or praiseworthy character traits whatever possible makes us in no way comparable to Allah's likeness. The Qur'an clearly states, "Naught is as His likeness" (16:74) nor should one consider that sharing in every quality means a likeness. Likeness is defined as sharing in a specific thing and in essence. A horse and a human being may both be swift but their likeness ends here.
The meaning of the name Allâh is so specific that it is inconceivable that there could be any sharing of the Name whether it be metaphorically or literally. In view of this, the rest of the Names are described as being the Names of Allâh and are defined in relation to Allâh. One may say that the Patient, the Compeller, and the Sovereign are among the Names of Allâh but one cannot say that Allâh is one of the Names of the Patient, the Compeller, the Sovereign. This is because the Name Allâh, is more indicative of the true nature of the meaning of divinity and is, therefore, more specific. As a result, one dispenses with trying to define it by something else whereas the other Names are defined in relationship to the Name Allâh. About befriending people who are not Muslims, various ayats in the Qur’an stress we should not take them as friends. So how should we behave and act towards them( especially their females who arent well dressed)? ma'as-salaam
Answer:
As-salaam wa alayakum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatuh brother.
Thank-you for your question for it is a problem that many struggle with everyday. What the Qur’an actually tells us is:
“Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he shall have nothing of (the guardianship of) Allah, but you should guard yourselves gainst them, guarding carefully; and Allah makes you cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and to Allah is the eventual coming” (A’lay Imran 3: 28).
So it is a question of preference of non-believers over believers. This can be further supported by the fact that Islam allows Muslim men to marry the ‘People of the Book’ i.e. believing Christians and Jews.
Islam is not just for Muslims but it is for everyone and it is best represented when we treat others as we would be treated hence the importance of human rights in Islam. We are to guard ourselves against those that would have us behave below the standard of ethics that we set for ourselves.
In our daily transactions Sufi Kabir Helminski describes this through how we behave to one another. He said: “Adab is not formality; it helps to create the context in which we develop our humanness. Every situation and relationship has its proper adab: between students on the path, in relation to family members and elders, in relation to one's sheikh. Every level of being also has its adab, including coming into the presence of Truth… We learn to observe, to control our impulses when that is called for, and to lose our "selves" when that is called for. We learn to behave as if everyone else is of a higher station than ourselves. Our conversation is centered on God and coming into harmony with God and each other. Gossip and backbiting is one of the worst actions any seeker can indulge in -- not only the speaking of it, but the listening to it, as well. Backbiting is defined as saying anything behind a person's back that would displease them (whether it is true or not). Since we are attempting to bring ourselves into alignment with Reality, we will face many tests and it is inevitable that there will be some interpersonal tensions from time to time”.
If we are firm believers in human rights and acknowledge Islam to be as a mercy to the world, then we must also translate this towards the non-Muslims who we come into contact with daily. As you have described there are aspects that we face challenging our nafs – personality or ego, but this is just a part of the many tests we face in life. The Qur’an states:
“Allah only forbids you respecting those who made war upon you on account of (your) religion, and drove you forth from your homes and backed-up (others) in your expulsion, that you make friends with them, and whoever makes friends with them, these are the unjust” (Muntahanah 60: 8).
So this makes it pretty clear as to what is in our best interest and that is only to avoid that which oppress us and deprive us of our rights. As regards to women inappropriately dressed, in general it is known what Muslims consider to be appropriate forms of dress except as a male you have no distinguishing features that can determine your religion. So it becomes incumbent upon your will to determine how best to deal with such situations – the most difficult being in a place of work or study. In your dealings, you can make it apparent without words and without being rude that it is not to your liking. Subconsciously the person concerned might eventually realize that it is not in her best interest also – Jazak Allah Khayr.

I like the article send by bro. Hakim titled, "Read Me, My Teacher" ... few days earlier Amir was tralling me what a waste of time for us to go to class if the lecture was bored and u can still get the notes from the internet. I don't know how to explain to him in general, as I believe receiving knowledge from a teacher is better than learning by oneself. And so, I just smiled.. but today, I printed the article and tomorrow I'll give it to him and have him read it so that he understand why... hopefully...

Tingkatan Cinta
(1) Cinta tertinggi - terhadap Allah swt, RasulNya, Jihad fisabilillah dan kemenangan Islam.
Rasa cinta ini merupakan asas pada cinta-cinta yang lain.Ia merupakan bukti keimanan kita pada Allah swt.Cinta ini boleh mendorong seseorang hidup dalam manhaj rabbani, iaitu merealisasikan Islam di dalam kehidupannya dan seterusnya memberi kekuatan untuk terus memperjuangkan Din yang suci ini.
Cara-caranya -
1. Putuskan ikatan keduniaan dari hidup kita.Ambillah dunia sekadar perlu sahaja. Jadikan ia sebagai landasan utk mencapai kebahagiaan di akhirat. --> sound familiar? Sufism practices kan? Love for Allah exceeding Love for anything else in this world
2. Makrifatullah - dengan jalan mengenal Allah dan sifat-sifatNya. Kata orang "Tak kenal, maka tak cinta"
Tanda-tanda mendapat kasih Allah swt:
1. Allah akan menguji hamba-hambanya dengan musibah, kesusahan dsebagainya.
2. Allah akan menyusun kehidupan yang baik padanya- di mudahkan urusan dll.
3. Manusia tidak akan mudah tertipu dgn hawa nafsu.
4. Diri akan suka kepada kematian.- sentiasa bersedia dgn amal soleh.
5. Sentiasa mengamalkan zikrullah
6. Suka bermunajat di tempat-tempat sunyi.
7. Kasih sesama Mukmin, keras terhadap kuffar.
8. Sentiasa takut pada Allah.
(2) Cinta kedua - cinta sesama makhluk Allah yang bersandarkan keimanan.
(3) Cinta yang terendah - cinta yang hanya menurut nafsu tanpa batas.
Kesan-kesannya:
1. akan jauh dari rahmat dan kasih Allah
2. jiwa akan menderita kerana terpaksa menjaga hati pasangan
3. hatinya menjadi tawanan kekasihnya, hanya menurut kehendaknya shj
4. rosak pancaindera lahir dan batin
5. hati terhijab dari hidayah Allah

Pesanan Untuk Lelaki
Jangan engkau kahwini wanita yang enam, jangan yang ananah, yang mananah,dan yang hananah,dan jangan engkau kahwini yang hadaqah, yang baraqah dan yang syadaqah'
wanita Ananah banyak mengeluh dan mengadu, dan tiap saat memperalatkan sakit atau buat-buat sakit.
wanita Mananah suka membangkit-bangkit terhadap suami. wanita ini menyatakan 'aku membuat itu keranamu'.
wanita Hananah menyatakan kasih sayangnya kepada suaminya yang lain, yang dikahwininya sebelum ini atau kepada anaknya dari suami yang lain.
wanita Hadaqah melemparkan pandangan dan matanya pada tiap sesuatu, lalu menyatakan keinginannya utk memiliki barang itu dan memaksa suaminya untuk membelinya.
wanita Baraqah ada 2 makna, pertama yang sepanjang hari mengilatkan dan menghias mukanya, kedua dia marah ketika makan dan tidak mahu makan kecuali sendirian dan diasingkannya bahagianya.
wanita Syadaqah banyak cakap, tidak menentu lagi bising.

Jangan engkau kahwini wanita yang enam, jangan yang ananah, yang mananah,dan yang hananah,dan jangan engkau kahwini yang hadaqah, yang baraqah dan yang syadaqah'
wanita Ananah banyak mengeluh dan mengadu, dan tiap saat memperalatkan sakit atau buat-buat sakit.
wanita Mananah suka membangkit-bangkit terhadap suami. wanita ini menyatakan 'aku membuat itu keranamu'.
wanita Hananah menyatakan kasih sayangnya kepada suaminya yang lain, yang dikahwininya sebelum ini atau kepada anaknya dari suami yang lain.
wanita Hadaqah melemparkan pandangan dan matanya pada tiap sesuatu, lalu menyatakan keinginannya utk memiliki barang itu dan memaksa suaminya untuk membelinya.
wanita Baraqah ada 2 makna, pertama yang sepanjang hari mengilatkan dan menghias mukanya, kedua dia marah ketika makan dan tidak mahu makan kecuali sendirian dan diasingkannya bahagianya.
wanita Syadaqah banyak cakap, tidak menentu lagi bising.
